All four boys are in our local youth orchestra this year.  Last night they performed  at a gala celebrating SEMYO's 30th anniversary.  Sam played Viola in the Chamber Strings group, Ben and Garrison played violin and cello respectively in the Philharmonic Orchestra, and Charlie played oboe in the Concert Orchestra.

This was one of the most exciting times... We watched the sun's setting slowly shroud the depths, gashes, and pinnacles in shadow. From this point, we could also see the Colorado River. Another birthday in the Lenz household...Sam, our youngest arrow, is twelve. He is a maturing into a young man now, but he still has those dimples that peek out when he smiles (which is a regular event). One of the reasons he got the nick-name "Winkie."
